Last year we experienced that the whole idea of doing intercession was somewhat new to some in the SoSu team. This year we felt more and more a spirit of worship and intercession coming to rest on the SoSu team. We had awesome times interceding for the meetings and other moments were so personal with Jesus that people started to cry because of God’s presence.

For the EHOP team it was an encouraging experience to see young people starting to take their place before God’s throne. Also the relationship between intercession and the things that God did during meetings was awesome. During some meetings one of our team members was praying hidden behind the stage curtains for the meeting that was going on at the other side. At a certain moment he felt Holy Spirit leading him to pray for the bandleader, that God would use an emotional expression from this young men’s heart to touch the youth. Just one second after praying this, the bandleader quit singing and gave a powerful testimony about a sin he lived in and how God came with great love to set him free. Many were touched and changed.

We have no schedule ready for coming years, but we feel that God is continuing to connect us to SoSu in the future. We’ve spent some time with different people from the SoSu leadership and there is such an unity of hearts en passion. We are willing to give more time, experience and prayer for the case of releasing a whole generation!

Vision

The vision for this meeting came from a mandate and promise from God to establish more spiritual unity among worshippers and intercessors in our nation. God spoke that the time was ready for a group of key prayer leaders in the Netherlands to arise and form a ‘council’ with authority to bind, unbind and take place in God’s moves across Europe. It is always prayer and worship that usher in new moves of God! Besides that, we believe that Holland will need such a council in times of war, famine, disaster and persecution the end times will bring.

Organising this prayer meeting

Organising this prayer meeting was an adventure in itself, because it was never done before. But from the moment we started moving, our faith increased along. Within a week after launching almost all houses of prayer committed themselves to partake in the conference. How have we felt the power of unity that came forth from this unanimous decision!

We divided the 50 hours in ‘sets’ of 2 hours each. Each house of prayer could adopt a few sets. It was amazing to notice the unity in our collective DNA. It was so easy so sing, pray, prophecy and dance along with the other houses of prayer! It felt as one big family reunion:) On the other side was it powerful to notice the differences in accents each house of prayer has developed over the years. One is outstanding in bringing people in intimacy with God, while the other is so fiery that it lifts all the others up in breakthrough intercession for our nation.

Strong sense of unity

We had 50 hours filled with passionate worship, honest prayers and each new set seemed to be better than the one before. Houses of prayer were helping each other out with singing, playing the instruments or joining in prayer.

There was no ‘own kingdom building’ but just a strong focus on one Person: Jesus!

After the weekend we had a strong sense of unity. No meeting or conversation could have given a better renewal of our vision en faith. God is building His house in The Netherlands. One of the prayer leaders stated: “Over the years we have grown as a movement in numbers, but also in quality.” We agree with this remark and believe that God has opened a new season for united worship and intercession in Europe. Holland will be part of this!

Next step

During the weekend we asked God to show our next step. He spoke to our core team to have a next ’50 hours of Worship & Intercession’ in October this year. So if you missed this first 50 hours, note the next one in your agenda from 19 unto 21 October 2012.

We desire to see national prayer meetings in the Netherlands where prayer houses, prayer groups, intercessors and worshipers together form a chain of prayer that will not be broken during a certain hours and days. We want to realize this dream in part during 13 – 15 April where there will be 50 hours of non-stop worship and prayer for the Netherlands.

We long to build an altar of worship and prayer for the living God of Israel so that He will come with fire! Amen?!

• Glory Night on Tuesday evenings in even weeks: an evening with worship, prayer, prophecy and praying for each other.
• Worship & Intercession on Wednesday evenings: 2 hours of worship and intercession
• Night Watch on Monday and Tuesday nights: be in Gods presence during the night time (send an email if you want to participate)
• Evangelism on Wednesday afternoons
• Devotionals: 1 hour of intimate worship by one of the EHOP team members where you can have quiet time with God
• Worship with the Word on Monday mornings

The funny thing is, that we never had time, money or prophetic words to really go for almost 2 years now. To some of us this was difficult! We were so busy with building the house, forming the team and many other things, that Israel remained a nice dream. It was in the beginning of 2012 that God first spoke about going with our team to pray and worship Him in Israel. The only thing we did than was to open this trip for people that wanted to come. To our amazement 8 other people felt that God wants them to join us. So we are preparing for a group trip to the Holy Land:) One of the words we have received is that God wants to shake us (in a positive sense) all upside down!

The trip will consist of 3 parts:

1. A week in Jerusalem to visit the houses of prayer there and join different ministries. During this week we will lead people around and share the revelations we have as EHOP received
2. A week to explore the nation in smaller groups, so everyone gets the change to see what he wants to see.
3. Some last days in Jerusalem to conclude all we did and saw with worship and intercession.

Because of the apartment we have booked it is no longer possible to apply for this trip, but people who want to join us next time are welcome to send us an email so we can keep them updated on next trips.

Wednesday 12 October we prepared the Succa for the celebration week. Poor us, we had Dutch rain drops that day instead of Israel’s blue skies….The major reason we choose to build a Succa with canvas and not only green branches. We erected the Succa next to the EHOP building and used it mainly to lunch and have tea & coffee…

Organising Succoth was exciting! We planned to only use the new EHOP building as accommodation for worship & intercession, seminars and devotionals. The maximum number of people EHOP can contain is around 45 persons. We had no idea how many people would show up:) God is so perfect in planning! He spread our visitors over the seven days Succoth. Everyday was visited by 20 to 25 people and the whole group was replaced every 2 days. We never had to dismiss anyone and the times together were ‘in the flow’.

The cool thing was to sense that God brought people together with a specific purpose. One day we had intercession time and the subject moved to praying for the calling out of Holland from the European Union. Europe as the revived Roman Empire was limited in The Netherlands by the Rein River, so we pressed in that God would recover this spiritual wall against the influences of Europa. Turned out that one of our visitors for (only) that day was a researcher who dove deep in to the historical facts concerning this river and her spiritual meaning for this time. He gave a ‘briefing’ of what he knew and helped us to pray more specific and with more faith!
Another day we went praying on a hill close by Zelhem. From that place you have an overview of ‘De Achterhoek’. This is the area where EHOP is located. This area is known for witchcraft and liberalism. We worshipped Jesus on this high place and took time to bind the plans of the enemy and release the purposes of God on this geographical area.

We could sense that there was joy and breakthrough in the heavenly realm and that change is on the way! We are expectant for the near future:)

Another highlight was the last evening of the feast. God spoke that day of a release of living waters. We felt Jesus inviting again as He did in John 7: “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.” This is so profound, but yet so powerful: drinking of Jesus! The good thing is, when we drink His water, He turns in in to wine the whole time. Together with our guest we drunk, and laughed, and fell, and danced:) Great way to end a party that God ordained!

We look back on intimate worship, deeper relationships, fervent prayers, delicious meals, aromatic coffee and loads of fun. We’ll do this definitely again next year, so…..when you missed it: have patience!

1. Support a Prayer Room Hour: there’s a number of hours we pray and there is an amount of costs connected to that. We have to pay rent, gas, electricity, water and other expenses. We have calculated that one hour in EHOP costs around €10,00. That is not much for having 5-10 people worshipping and praying! At this moment we have covered 50 hours a month, BUT another 100 hours need to be covered! We invite you to take one or more hours for your account.

3. Support our Leadership Team: The EHOP team consists of people who are full time working for the establishment of the European House of Prayer. They have no income, but live by faith in God and charities of those around them.

In obedience EHOP took the step to order a wooden house for the LORD. Recent months have been really exciting, as we were planning, calculating, building, painting and constructing this ‘dwelling place’ for Jesus. We gave our time, our energy and creativity.

We can prepare our hearts for the end times by trying to understand the End Times, pray in to Gods blueprint and worship Him as the victorious King. Together with our guests we will open God’s Word and have a closer look on the 150 Bible chapters concerning the End Times.

We will also take time to intercede for the Church, for Europe and our personal lives. Through the whole weekend the atmosphere will be grounded in worship and intimacy with God.

During the annual Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) EHOP celebrates together with Israel the remembrance of how God led them to the Promised Land. We look back on the days God resided among His people in the desert. Living in nothing more than a humble, dusty tent!

We also look to the future with Biblical prophecies that God again will come down and live among His own people from every tribe, nation and tongue. What’s really amazing about Sukkot is the following prophecy:

In the end, the enemies of Jerusalem who survive the plague will go up to Jerusalem each year to worship the King, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. Any nation in the world that refuses to come to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, will have no rain.” (Zechariah 14: 16,17)

We will have to come to Jerusalem in the Millennial Kingdom to celebrate Sukkot! For God, celebrating this Feast, seems still to be very important and will be very important for the whole world. We don’t always understand why God values certain things the way He does, but we do want to see things the way He sees them. When God is really eager to celebrate a certain feast, we don’t want to miss out! As EHOP we take God’s invitation to have a party. On our turn we invite everyone else with this same desire.

Program

We can’t give you exact names of people teaching or leading worship. Our Sukkot celebration is not a conference, but a family meeting. During the whole week we will be open to Holy Spirit’s leading and to what people feel they should do, share, sing or dance… but you can expect a daily timetable as below:

08:00 am: Devotional Time (Have your own time with God while soft soaking music is playing)
10:00 am: Worship & Intercession (Join in and share in our focus to worship God and request breakthrough)
12:00 pm: Lunch (Enjoy your lunch together with the others in a Sukka, next to the EHOP building)
01:30 pm: Worship & Seminar (Get revelation on Gods people, worship, intercession, end times or something else)
04:00 pm: Relaxing time (Time for sports, making a walk, playing a game etc)
06:00 pm: Dinner (Welcome in our second EHOP base in Zelhem for a quality meal in a quality setting)
08:00 pm: Meeting with worship, teaching & intercession OR hanging out together, having a drink/watching a movie
11:00 pm: Bed time

Application & Booking

By filling in the application form below you sign up for the Feast of Tabernacles 2011. Just tell us how many days, people and meals you would like to join us. We ask a little compensation for the meals in advance (€7,00 for a whole day: €2,50 for lunch and €4,50 for dinner). The other costs will be dealt with in the offerings during the week. We believe we can bear this together!

For booking a place to sleep we refer to the website of campsite De Betteld (www.betteld.nl) They offer a bed in the Hostel (€115,- for a week, €17,50 for a night) or a chalet (between €260 and €370 for a week for 4 to 6 persons)

A house of prayer is a permanent place where God and people can meet at any chosen time. A place where intimacy with God is facilitated. A place where God finds Himself a resting place. A resting place because of the continuous worship, meditation and intercession. This expressions of relationship are to be accompanied by creative elements like music, art and dance. Mission – Why are we doing EHOP

This house of prayer will function as a birthplace of a new movement of friends of God who are working together with Holy Spirit to prepare the way for the returning Bridegroom.
In different stages EHOP will help to hasten the day of the Lord.
In the first phase she will be involved in rearing and training people that have the calling to be a forerunner in the spirit of Elijah. By prayer, worship, fasting and offering this new generation will be equipped to awaken the church for a fresh desire for her Bridegroom.
In a following phase EHOP will aim to open her doors for many hungry (just saved) believers who are shocked by the global disasters, persecution, diseases and threats. EHOP wants to facilitate a place to pray, hear God’s word, hide and serve God in the darkest moments of earths history.
EHOP also wants to supply prophecy, knowledge of the end-times and ways of intimacy with God when false teachings are all around.

Vision – What do we believe for the future

Prayer and worship will make way for the outpouring of the latter rain. This is a global outpouring of Holy Spirit, unprecedented in human history. Heaven’s impact will increase to a level that we as church start to walk in here full destiny again. Revival, signs and wonders, but also sacrifice and martyrdom will be accompanied by great numbers of souls that are going to be saved. Resistance will try to destroy this movement, but it will bring the church more and more in the place of prayer and worship.

By this the bride-church is getting prepared for here eternal destiny to rule the earth together with Him. In the darkest hour He will hear her cry and set here free for ever. The Kingdom of Heaven breaks in, and we as children of God start to live our real lives and walk out our real callings: living in His presence, worshiping Him forever with everything we think, say and do and ruling over the earth.

Strategy – How do we work?

Prayer room

In order to fulfill our mission, we are running a prayer room. In this place our staff is taking others along in intercession, worship and meditation during different moment a day. All people are welcome to join in worship and prayer by participating in the ‘Harp & Bowl model’. There is an openness for participants, visitors and cooperation with all different kinds of churches and ministries.

Prophetic music

Full time staff is in training to grow in prophetic singing. As a result of Holy Spirit inspiration new songs will rise. EHOP wants to record and release this music, believing that God wants to bring shifts in the church by means of new, prophetic songs.

Life Messages

Full time staff is trained and encouraged to develop life messages while spending hours in the prayer room. In first place this messages will be preached in our community. Second, whenever a possibility occurs and God guides, EHOP will send out speakers to churches, youth-events, seminars etc. to speak on their life messages.

Internships

Young people will be involved by offering them three months internships in EHOP. During this period they will be educated in end times, intimacy, intercession, holiness, leadership etc. Secondly they will be trained in prayer, worship and fasting. Last they will be challenged to put into practice what they are learning by partaking in the prayerhouse.

Conferences

EHOP organises conferences for a wider range of interested people. During this conferences believers will be taken along in the journey to a lifestyle of prayer and worship. Speakers from the international prayer movement together with local leaders will teach and different worship teams will lead in worship.

Voluntary staff

EHOP wants to enable people from all different spheres of society to take part in continuous prayer and worship. For that reason there is (some) housing and a program for long term and short term staff. During their stay they are welcome to pray along, but they will also be encouraged to grow in their abilities in prayer or worship leading.

Outreaches

Out of a lifestyle of prayer and worship EHOP is involved in outreaches as well. Different forms and styles are practised or planned: street evangelism, alpha courses, special services and out reach trips to cities in Europe or Israel.

Justice

Out of a life of prayer and worship EHOP will also be involved in justice projects. This involvement can range from supporting missions in the third world, campaigns against abortion or help for drug-addicts.

Conclusion

EHOP is a dynamic family of intercessors and worshipers located in the Netherlands, close to the German border. We are looking forward to run 24/7 in the near future.

We love to welcome others with the same desire! Located on a big christian conference centre in the Netherlands, we have the facilities to serve intercessors with a place to unite and pray. We long to host European prayer gatherings and end times training schools to see change come to this continent. Join hands and heart with us!

We believe the church will be awakened through worship and prayer by spiritual forerunners. Awoken and anointed the church will cooperate with Jesus in the end time harvest in Europe. Europe is not a lost case, it will see revival!
